Sunergos Partnership offers consultancy on some of the UK’s most ambitious construction and infrastructure projects.

We specialise in supporting businesses through the whole of the development lifecycle with strategic guidance and honest advice. Our clients include organisations of all sizes, working on projects of all scales. We support them to achieve their objectives, whether they are national businesses delivering major infrastructure schemes, or SME operators looking to meet their commercial goals.

Meet the team

Damian Leydon


Damian formed Sunergos Partnership in October 2020, with over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He was previously Operations Director at Berkeley St Joseph, overseeing multi-billion pound projects in west London.

Damian has held senior positions at EDF Energy, Laing O’Rourke, and Lendlease. Over the course of his career he has worked on some of the UK’s most significant national construction projects including Heathrow Terminal 5, the 2012 Olympic Athletes’ Village, and the Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station. He has also overseen work on some of the capital’s most recognisable buildings, including 10 Downing Street and St Paul’s Cathedral.

Damian is passionate about construction and finding new ways to deliver projects efficiently and safely. He provides executive guidance to a number of non-profit organisations in the industry. He is currently serving as a board director for the Get It Right Initiative, which seeks to eliminate avoidable error in construction, and actively supports projects which provide training and apprenticeship schemes to support disadvantaged people entering construction.

Damian is a fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (FICE) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB).

Kevin Linnane


Kevin has over a 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. He was previously Director of Projects for Ellmer Construction, part of the Byrne Group, where he was responsible for the delivery of several iconic and complex projects. Here his team was responsible for the Cutty Sark and the East Village, converting 985 homes in the Athletes’ Village following the 2012 London Olympic Games.

As a Group Director with Wyse Group for over 10 years, Kevin delivered the set-up, logistics and project recovery across many large-scale schemes, with a focus on team building, quality and delivery.

Kevin has successfully implemented modern methods of construction and has created production facilities where modular elements of work can be designed, produced and incorporated into larger projects.

Kevin is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB), a member of the Association for Project Management (MAPM), a chartered construction manager and has a diploma in quantity surveying (DipQS). Working with Inspiring the Future, he is passionate about introducing young people into the construction industry.

Suzy Essex

Executive Assistant

With over 15 years’ experience in the property and construction industry and a BSc degree in Biomedical Science, Suzy provides valuable support to the directors at Sunergos Partnership. Suzy worked for Lendlease for over 10 years supporting the senior team delivering Athletes’ Village and International Quarter London.
